Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

To ensure the seamless delivery, security, and integrity of our utility software suite, Nova collects specific categories of operational and authentication data. We operate on a principle of data minimization, meaning we only collect what is strictly necessary to provide you with the Service:

  • Authentication Data: We collect your third-party identifiers (such as Discord ID, username, and avatar URL) via standard OAuth2 protocols to provision your web dashboard access, authenticate your session, and assign the relevant roles within our community platforms.
  • Hardware Identifiers (HWID): To enforce concurrency limits and prevent unauthorized distribution of licenses, we generate and store a cryptographic hash based on the physical components of your device. This hash cannot be reverse-engineered to identify your specific hardware models or personal identity.
  • Telemetry & Usage Metrics: We log non-personally identifiable diagnostic events, including connection timestamps, interface load times, engine compatibility versions, and crash reports. This is critical for maintaining stability across various digital environments.
  • Cloud Configurations: Any graphical layouts, workflow presets, and keybind configurations that you explicitly choose to save to our cloud infrastructure are stored securely so they can be retrieved across your authorized devices.
  • Network & Routing Data: We collect your IP address and ISP routing details to enforce regional security policies, prevent malicious abuse, and maintain the integrity of our authentication servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data collected by Nova is strictly utilized for operational, maintenance, and administrative purposes. Your HWID is continuously evaluated by our backend infrastructure to authorize your license requests in real-time, ensuring that only valid, single-user nodes access the premium endpoints of our hub.

Telemetry and crash diagnostics are aggregated and used by our engineering team to identify incompatibilities, improve load times, and proactively address software conflicts before they affect the broader user base. We do not use your information to create behavioral profiles for targeted advertising, nor do we employ cross-site tracking mechanisms.

VPN & Routing Policy: To maintain accurate network logs and prevent evasion tactics, the use of VPNs or proxies is generally restricted. However, we acknowledge that certain jurisdictions employ strict ISP-level censorship. In such documented cases, we grant specific VPN verification exceptions for authorized premium users, ensuring software accessibility without compromising our broader security infrastructure.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosure

Nova upholds a strict policy against the monetization of your personal data. We do not sell, rent, or lease any of your provided information to third-party data brokers, marketing agencies, or external analytical firms.

Your data is only shared with external entities when it is strictly necessary to fulfill a service request—such as transmitting encrypted transaction tokens to our trusted payment gateways—or when we are legally compelled to do so by a verified, legitimate legal subpoena from a recognized jurisdiction.

4. Data Security Protocols

We implement commercially rigorous security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All communication between your client and our API endpoints is secured using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption.

Furthermore, sensitive identifiers, including your HWID, are subject to one-way cryptographic hashing before being committed to our databases. Despite these stringent efforts, it is important to acknowledge that no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely infallible.

5. Data Retention Limits

We retain your authentication data and license information for as long as your account remains active within our ecosystem. This ensures uninterrupted access to your purchased utility services and cloud configurations.

Non-essential telemetry, diagnostic logs, and historical connection metadata are subjected to an automated rolling deletion cycle. These records are typically purged from our active databases after 30 to 90 days. You possess the right to request a complete erasure of your account and associated data by contacting our support team.

6. International Privacy Rights & Updates

Depending on your geographic location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data under regional regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in the United States. We are committed to accommodating requests related to data access, portability, and deletion in accordance with applicable laws.

Nova reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our technological practices, legal obligations, or operational procedures. Material changes to this policy will be communicated directly via your dashboard interface or through formal announcements in our community channels prior to taking effect.
